Bhitarkanika National Park is the second largest mangrove ecosystem in India, after Sundarbans. It is home to saltwater crocodile, Indian python, king cobra, chital deer, wild boar, rhesus monkey, monitor lizard, jungle cat, fishing cat and numerous bird species, with saltwater crocodile being the primary attraction.
